About my 'little street music'... ... I have always been fascinated by the world of fairgrounds and the circus. I'm not talking here about the circus with three simultaneously animated arenas with laser spots, no, I'm talking about the real circus, where the clown sometimes catches the sniffles and the carousel, where the horses limp a bit... So the cheerfulness in the three movements of this piece is deceptive. But there are no terrible dramas to be discovered either... - not even at midnight! So the themes revolve, without any real development or outcome, like the horses in the arena, where even the most beautiful smile of the tamer in Strass will change nothing... Tadeusz Kassatti
