Bläsergotteslob

to the Würzburg Appendix, edited by Karl-Heinz Sauer on behalf of the Episcopal Ordinariate.

The people responsible for church music in the diocese of Würzburg want to support the expansion of good settings for old and new hymns with this new wind choir praise. And they have truly succeeded! This brass praise to God is full of good music for the Würzburg diocesan part of the praise to God. Each hymn is provided with a prelude and an accompaniment, and some also include postludes. But the best thing about this edition is that individual parts have been published for almost all wind instruments. The palette ranges from brass instruments to various flutes and clarinets to saxophones and bassoon. This should make it possible for any wind ensemble to perform the songs in an appealing way.
