Description:
Hyacinthe Eléonore Klosé (1808 - 1880) was a French clarinet player, professor at the Conservatoire de Paris, and composer. Klosé was born in Corfu (Greece) and died in Paris. In 1841 he became solo clarinetist at the Théâtre Italien to Frédéric Berr. At the Paris Conservatory, Klosé had many notable pupils.
As a composer he mainly wrote music for saxophone and clarinet. His 'Duettino Concertante' for two clarinet and piano is one of his most well-known works.
Slovenian arranger Gregor Kovacic arranged this 'Duettino Concertante' for two clarinets with accompaniment of a woodwind ensemble.
