Description:
This 16th Century dance in 2/4 time, called a Bransle, has been arranged for woodwind quintet by Harry Gee. The grade 1 setting has substitute parts to provide greater flexibility; 2nd Bb clarinet for the Oboe part, Eb Alto Saxophone for the Horn in F part, and Bb Bass Clarinet for the Bassoon part. Though in technical demands this piece provides beautiful variety in color and texture. Duration 1:40.
