Beginning with a 3 against 2 'seis' introduction, the music develops into 'tempo di huapango' a Mexican dance alternating between 6/8 and 3/4. Although this piece would be ideal showpiece for an advanced ensemble, the optional Oboe 4 part is crafted for grade 3 to 4 players.
