Composed when Camille Saint-Saens was only 22 years old, this Tarantella is an exciting dance in 6/8 time. Originally orchestrated for solo instruments with orchestra, this piece is most commonly performed with the piano reduction. This arrangement provides a much more 'orchestral' alternative to a lone piano. Instrumentation: Solo Flute, Solo A Clarinet, E-Flat Clarinet, 4 B-Flat Clarinets, Alto Clarinet/Basset Horn, Bass Clarinet, Contrabass/Contralto/String Bass
