Description:
Bernhard Henrik Crusell (1775 - 1838) was one of the greates clarinet virtuosi performing at the beginning of the nineteenth century. The Concerto Op. 11 is thought to have been written as early as 1807. He dedicated it to Crown Prince Oscar of Sweden and Norway. This concerto contains the longest and most profound of his slow movements and is the only one with a written-out cadenzy.
