Description:
The "Grand Concerto pour la Clarinette" is a three-movement work for B-flat clarinet and symphony orchestra, reminiscent of the concert works by Carl Maria von Weber. It was probably composed between 1814 and 1819. This concerto was clearly composed by clarinettists who, without using excessive playing technique, put everything at the service of a graceful and natural performance. As it has never been published before, it has been made audible and playable again with this edition.
