Description:
Fr. V. Kramar-Krommer became known primarily as a composer of works for wind instruments. The present concerto dates from 1803, is exceptionally well orchestrated, formally balanced and is one of the most famous works in the clarinet literature. The piano reduction was prepared by Ladislav Simon, the revision of the solo part by Professor Jiri Kratochvil (ed. Jan Racek). The practical edition is part of the Musica Antiqua Bohemica series.
