After the String Quintet KV 406 and the Wind Serenade KV 388 arranged by Michael Nowotny. In this transcription, the editor Michael Nowotny attempts to combine the "wind element" of the original version (2 oboes, 2 clarinets, 2 french horns, 2 bassoons) with the concentrated chamber music form of the string quintet. The resulting arrangement is a valuable addition to the repertoire of any clarinet ensemble.
The set of parts includes all clarinet and basset horn parts, as well as an optional bassoon part as a substitute for the bass clarinet, totaling 8 individual parts.
