The Cadenzas and interludes were written in 2021 to a commission from the flautist Philipp Jundt. The brief cadenzas were mostly composed for a single breath, in the spirit of Quantz. The interludes refer both motivically and harmonically to the corresponding movements of the Bach Concertos.
