Dieses Werk für Flötenensemble und Cembalo (Klavier) ist wie ein Concerto Grosso aufgebaut; das Concertino besteht aus einem Piccolo Solo, Flöte Solo 1 - 4 und einer Altflöte Solo. Die Besetzung des Tutti ist folgende: Flöte 1 - 3, Altflöte und Bassflöte. Das Cembalo wird teilweise konzertant, solistisch oder im Tutti eingesetzt. Der Titel bezieht sich auf eine sehr bekannte Gospelmelodie, die in den drei Sätzen Gospel, Blues und Ragtime verarbeitet wird und als zyklisches Thema wiederkehrt.
