Description:
Faure's 'Pavane' op. 50 in F# minor was written in 1887. Originally it was conceived as a piano piece, but his version for orchestra and optional chorus is better known. It is the piano reduction of the latter version on which this edition for flute and piano, arranged by Arthur Ephross, was based.
