Description:
With Johannes Brahms’ Sonata in E-flat Major, Op. 120, No. 2, Emmanuel Pahud adds a masterpiece of the late Romantic period to the flute repertoire. This arrangement for flute and piano is based on the score from the Wiener Urtext Edition and brings to life the lyrical depth, tonal richness, and expressiveness of this sonata, which was originally composed for clarinet. As part of The Flute Collection, this edition combines musical tradition with new perspectives for the concert and teaching repertoire.
