Description:
Niels Peter Jensen (1802-1846), blind since his childhood, played both the organ and the flute in Copenhagen and composed numerous pieces for the flute, but also for the piano and the stage. He was a pupil of Kuhlau who strongly influenced his style. The three duets are quite varied and take advantage of the technical possibilites the multi-key flutes offer.
