Description:
In 1739 Hasse published six trio sonatas in London, of which the fourth is available in this edition. The almost vocal expressiveness, especially of the two slow movements, reveals the important vocal composer here as well. The contrast with the fresh and rhythmically accentuated fast movements results in an equally instructive and concertante chamber music work.
