Description:
Gustav Meyer wurde am 13. September 1914 in Hamburg geboren. Er studierte Komposition und Oboe am Hamburger Krüss-Färber Konservatorium und war später Erster Oboist an der Volksoper Berlin. Nach dem 2. Weltkrieg wurde er Oboist beim Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks, wo er 30 Jahre bis zu seiner Pensionierung tätig war.
