Philip Sparke

Skilful Solos

The early learning stage is, in addition to a good teacher in class, undoubtedly the most important thing for any instrument. However, motivating teaching material is also of great importance.
For these two solo books, Philip Sparke consulted with many teachers on how best to introduce new notes and at the same time create a framework into which new musical elements can be inserted in a meaningful order. Supported by these solos and etudes in three different levels of difficulty, instrumental students can quickly mature into real musicians. Each book is tailored exactly to the needs and requirements of the individual instrument.
STARTER SOLOS and SKILFUL SOLOS can also be rehearsed and performed well alone or with a pianist thanks to the accompaniments included in the book and on Audio-Online. The advantage of this is that beginners not only learn the most important aspects of ensemble playing, but also develop the ability to hear while playing and to keep the tempo from the very beginning.
