Sonatina

Sonatina for Oboe and Piano was composed in 1967 and given its first performance by Dinah Demuth, to whom it is dedicated. The Sonatina for Cor Anglais and Piano of 1968 was also written for Dinah Demuth, then a member of the Midland Light Orchestra, whose broadcasts included solo works such as these two Sonatinas. This Sonatina was originally published by Phylloscopus Publications in 1995.
