Description:
Marezcek wurde am 3. Juli 1910 in Brno (Brünn) geboren. Hier war er bis 1944 Lehrer an der Akademie und Theaterkapellmeister. Mit 34 Jahren ging er nach Kairo und leitete ein deutsches Sinfonie-Orchester. 1947 dirigierte er in Stuttgart und wurde ständiger Mitarbeiter am Süddeutschen Rundfunk. 1965 bis 1967 war er Leiter der Operette im Staatstheater Oldenburg und feierte großartige Erfolge. Bis zu seinem Tod am 19. Dezember 1984 war er für Konzert und Funk tätig. Bekannt wurde die Impression Sommerabend am Berg für Englisch-Horn oder Saxophon in der Begleitung mit Orchester (Orchestermaterial leihweise erhältlich)
