The "Six Suittes" are the only evidence of the composer’s existence; nothing else is known about him today. The suite movements, likely composed in the mid-18th century, are comparable to those of his colleagues M. Corrette, R. Courtiville, and P. Delavigne. They are ideal for alto recorders, violins, flutes, or oboes and represent an interesting addition to the Baroque duo repertoire.
