Cadenza Finale

This contemporary piece moves toward its final cadence in five sections, each in an old style: Canzona—La Volta—Intermezzo—Bicinium—Romanesca.
The composition is conceived as a four-part piece (SATB), but can also be performed as a sextet using two optional parts (low bass and sub-bass). The piece can be played equally well on modern recorders, consort instruments, viols, or other instruments.
The score is accompanied by a lovingly designed download section where recordings of all individual parts can be listened to or downloaded.
