Description:
In this concerto for recorder orchestra, the focus is on the low recorders, with the following instrumentation: T/B1/B2/B3/B4/Gb/Sb. Those with sub-alto and sub-contrabass recorders will find additional (optional) parts for these instruments. The two high solo parts alternate instruments (Sn/S/A/T/B) and play offstage. This creates the echo effect characteristic of this concerto.
The concerto is divided into four movements: Overture – Adagio – Allegro – Andante.
