Description:
Immerse yourself in the magnificent sound world of the early Baroque! Published by the renowned Moeck Verlag, "5 sechstimmige Intraden" (5 Six-Part Intradas) brings festive historical ensemble music directly to your music stands. These masterful movements originate from the celebrated 1608 Nuremberg collection ("Neue Musicalische Intraden, auf allerhand Instrumenten, sonderlich auf Violen zu gebrauchen") and unfold a wonderfully warm and majestic character when played by a recorder consort.
Scored for six recorders, these pieces captivate through their dance-like elegance, rhythmic vitality, and richly textured polyphony. The practical playing score makes rehearsing and performing as an ensemble an absolute pleasure. Ideal for festive concerts, church services, or intimate music-making: these intradas are a splendid addition to the repertoire of any ambitious recorder ensemble seeking authentic historical brilliance.
