Fortunately, there is a great demand for literature for the delightful duet instrumentation with two bass recorders. That's why we are happy to offer further appealing music for this line-up with volumes 2 to 5 of the "New Playbook". Since the technical difficulty of the movements in volume 2 is sometimes considerable, a further increase in volumes 3 to 5 has been omitted. On the contrary, the technical demands of these volumes lie between those of the first and second volumes. With the five volumes of the "New Playbook" for 2 bass recorders, there is now a quite extensive collection of sonorous movements for two bass recorders.
