Description:
PAN is an improvisation over given tone rows and rhythmic-dynamic models. Each major or partial phase of the improvisation process has a tonal space that may be played through again and again; this tonal space is circumscribed in the notation schemes. Each phase is accompanied by a few verbal explanations, which on the one hand describe the respective desired psychological disposition, the physical posture and the way of acting of the playing organs, so to speak, because we are dealing here with a music in which the body parts acting during the playing are not only executive organs, but play a role of their own, whereby their acting also encompasses the inner processes, precisely those of the experience.
