Description:

Key: C major
Accompaniment: Basso continuo

Immerse yourself in the splendid elegance of the Prussian Rococo! The charming Trio in C major by Christoph Schaffrath is a true gem of chamber music. Schaffrath composed this delightful work during his tenure as "erster Cammermusicus" at the court of the music-loving Princess Amalia of Prussia. The piece enchants with the lively, harmonious interplay of two alto recorders, beautifully underpinned by a rich basso continuo. Set at an intermediate level, it offers both dedicated amateurs and seasoned ensembles immense playing pleasure and expressive stylistic variety. This carefully prepared edition from Pan Verlag includes the full score and parts, making it an ideal choice for concerts, teaching, or chamber music making. Bring royal brilliance to your repertoire!
