Description:
The colorful selection of a total of five trios by W.A.Mozart arranged for saxophone was headed by Louis Mayeur at the time with "Cinq Trois des Mozart pour saxophone alto mib, tenor sib, baryton mib à M. Cesaire von Elslande, Président de la Société Franco-Belg: Les Amis Réunis" Under his names he wrote: Saxophone Solo, Clarinette Basse de l'Opera.
The editor found this first printing in January 1990 in Kleinmachnow near Berlin in the estate of Gustav Bumcke. In the trio L. Mayeur arranged various works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The present arrangement by Detlef Bensmann lies in the elaboration of the dynamics, the articulation and the correction of harmonic errors, as they occur in printings and sometimes also occur to arrangers and composers. Thus adapted to the needs of modern saxophonists, the five trios arranged for saxophone sound fresh and lively and fit well both in the classroom and on stage!
