Every day, we're bombarded with emojis. In this sheet music edition, every emotional state is translated into a single stylized face. From doubt to rage, cheerfulness to exuberance—it's all here. Steven Tailor has translated the emojis into music. Sixteen of these emotions now have their own melodies for alto saxophone. The 17th piece, included as an encore, is the "Emoticon Canon," which blends several emojis together. The pieces are notated in E-flat tuning. The pieces are currently also available separately in B flat tuning and in the bass clef. Chords are included so that the pieces can be played with piano accompaniment in class or with your own band.
