- Premezzo II: The following typesetting are exposed and processed: Punctuality, glissandi, suggestions, slaps and cantabile melodicism.
- Colors: individual sounds stand for the colors blue, red, yellow and green
- Alienated: the standing beside oneself is composed here as a free canon
- Hallucinatory: after a being-stepped-into, the movement begins with a misterioso
- Dances: the following dances are performed: Sabre dance, waltz, tango and polka
- Psychotic: Psychotic states are depicted between a rising, increasing chain of quavers and crotchets that recurs in a refrain-like manner: Refrain - Fear, sorrow, states of shock - Refrain - Unpredictability, insecurity, ill-feeling, strangeness, concentration disorders - Refrain - Intoxication - Refrain
- Alienated: two folk songs are alienated here, namely Ein Jäger aus Kurpfalz and Ein Männlein steht im Walde.
