Salvation is Created was one of Chesnokov's final sacred choral compositions before he was forced to only write secular music by the Soviet government. The haunting melody and harmonies have made it Chesnokov's most famous and recognized composition. Alternate parts are included in case either soprano or bass saxophones are not available.
