Description:
Take the Long Way Home is a very melodic song from the Supertramp album "Breakfast in America". In this arrangement, the soprano saxophone and the 1st alto saxophone take on the leading roles, while the other voices have an accompanying function. The soprano saxophone can be supported by the optional alto saxophone part. Thus, the arrangement is extended to a sextet. From the B part onwards, the rhythm of the baritone saxophone can be perfectly complemented by a cajon.
