Description:
Harmonisch orientierte Improvisation entsteht zu einem großen Teil aus spontaner Re-organisation bereits existierender melodischer Figuren. Individueller Ausdruck entsteht durch geplante oder spontane Veränderungen solcher 'Vokabeln', von eingeübten Passagen, tonalen Kombinationen oder Wendungen, die einem die Finger anbieten.
Als Kinder lernen wir eine Sprache durch Imitation einzelner Worte (Vokabeln), die wir schrittweise zu Sätzen und Erzählungen zusammensetzen. Wir lernen alle die gleichen Worte, verwenden sie aber individuell und intuitiv in eigener Zusammenstellung. So kann man sich auch in der Sprache des Jazz durch das Einüben von standardmäßigen Figuren verbessern, die man anschließend nach eigenem Empfinden durch Betonung, Artikulation, rhythmische Abwandlungen, Oktavierungen, Dehnung oder Stauchung verändern kann. In diesem Heft findest Du 408 Beispiele für mögliche Phrasen über Akkordfolgen vom Typ II - V - I, notiert in allen Tonarten: Eine persönliche Sammlung von Friedemann Graef, mit der Du Dein Spiel jeden Tag aufs Neue bereichern kannst!
