Description:
Tico-Tico is a well-known Brazilian song composed by Zequinha de Abreu. Georges Sadeler has arranged this work for saxophone and clarinet quartet. Georges Sadeler, born in 1988, is a Luxembourgish composer and saxophonist of the Grand Ducal Military Orchestra of Luxembourg. Even as a child, Georges looked over his father's shoulder while arranging musically, but it was not until many years later that he came to composing through his two professors Marco Pütz and Claude Lenners at the Luxembourg Conservatory. Gradually, he begins to establish his own style, mixing the diverse possibilities of contemporary and classical music. In the years that followed, Georges Sadeler won six different national and international composition competitions. Since then, his works have been performed throughout Europe.
