These jazz & rock trios offer every trombonist the opportunity to expand his skills in style and to train the interplay in the movement.
The pieces already sound as a duet. The 3rd voice extends the duet to a trio and makes its contribution to a rich sounding trombone movement. Unless specifically marked, the trios basically consist only of theme and ending. Therefore, for live performances they provide the basis for own arrangements, such as: Introduction, Theme, Improvisation, Theme, Conclusion.
For the rhythm section, an accompaniment booklet is available with the parts for piano/keyboard, guitar, bass and drums. The accompaniment parts are designed in such a way that they give the rhythm section a lot of freedom for their own creativity. For example, the piano/keyboard part contains the essential harmonic lines, voicings and small solo licks. The drum part contains all the important accents and phrasings of the trombone part. For the placement of the bass drum, the drummer is guided by the bass line.
