El Tanguero is a very intuitive tango written by Corrado Maria Saglietti for the CD "Non Stop" by Hungarian trombonist Zoltan Kiss. The special timbre of the trombone is ideally suited to the melancholy character of the piece, the quartet forms the rhythmic and harmonic framework and leads the traditional melodic embellishments of the tango.
