I thought my title appropriate as it described the growing chaos of the introduction leading to an agitated first theme which (as it gathers momentum) results in a MELTDOWN moment of great climax. There after a slow 'melting' theme is descriptive of the seismic aftermath of such an event prior to the coda and the reappearance of the opening 'chaos' material. This piece will challenge experienced players who will need a broad range of articulation and a 'large' but controlled sound at the extremes of range and dynamic. John Frith
