Di Attilio Romiti (Urbino, 29.IV.1818 - 1899 post) non esiste una biografia sistematica; dalla ricerca di varie fonti possiamo tracciare un primo profilo che dovrà essere corredato da ulteriori approfondimenti: Romiti è stato apprezzato strumentista di trombone, docente e compositore… si articola in più movimenti fra i quali spicca un Tema con Variazioni ed un movimento di danza (Mosso quasi tempo di valzer); lo strumento solista ha modo di esprimere tutta la gamma delle sue possibilità dal canto piano alle impervie difficoltà.
