Description:
Zambezi is the last movement from the Trombone Concerto. It begins with a cheerful samba, which is replaced by a jazzy melody, before it comes to a kind of "competition" between soloist and pianist. At the end, the soloist celebrates his "victory" with the samba melody before leading the work to its virtuoso conclusion.
