Description:
Sunbeam differs from the conventional idea of a trombone concerto. It is a work that was created with deliberate steps and without haste - like a walk through a landscape while the world rushes by. The trombone does not appear here as a powerful instrument, but as a voice that thinks aloud. Similarly, the orchestra does not stand opposite it, but enters into a dialog. Sunbeam focuses on the edges of the light: the first ray of dawn - hesitant, clear - and the last ray of dusk - warm, tired, almost memory.
