The happy medium I stayed in the USA for a year and then returned to him every summer. I was able to enjoy more than 100 lessons and now feel the need to testify to what he has given me. I realize that the goal is ambitious and that a teaching of such richness, based on attentive and warm-hearted listening to the student, can really only be passed on perfectly from person to person. Nevertheless, I hope that my message - which is not a thesis but a simple memento - will help to perpetuate James Stamp's teaching. I would first like to remind you of some of the principles of his teaching. In a second step, I will try to comment on and explain the "Warm ups + Studies" booklet published by Editions Bim so that everyone can make the best possible use of it and derive the desired benefit from it.
