Latin Suite by Jérôme Naulais is a colorful and lively work that impressively reflects the musical richness of Latin America. Conceived as a rhythmic journey, the suite combines several contrasting movements, each of which has its own distinctive character. The mambo opens the work with energetic dynamics and rousing vitality. This is followed by the Bossa Nova, which impresses with its calm, elegant and sensual atmosphere. The samba inspires with its festive aura and pulsating rhythm. In the Bolero, the composer unfolds a lyrical, passionate world of sound with expressive melodic lines. The tango brings dramatic tension and striking rhythmic accents. With Afro Cubano, powerful, strongly percussive elements and Afro-Latin American influences are emphasized. The piece concludes with a spirited salsa, which brings the work to a lively and brilliant close.
