The first movement is called Fantasy, for no particular reason, other than gratitude for being alive!
In the second movement, Meditation/Elegy, the slow, 'dirge' theme reflects not only the somber aspects of life, but also the Eternal. There is beauty in sorrow as well as in joy.
The third movement is a 'collage' of waltz ideas, derived from varied idioms. It's just pure fun.
