The "Missa in c" K. 427 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is a fascinating work: as it was never completed by Mozart, attempts have been made time and again since the 19th century to complete it and make it performable - with very different results. Now Frieder Bernius and Uwe Wolf have presented a new edition of the Mozart Mass, which attempts to make the performance possible with the greatest respect for the existing material, without covering up Mozart's musical handwriting. Whether in the double-choir "Qui tollis" or the fugue "Cum Sancto Spiritu": the choral singers are definitely challenged - and yet the mood of the work must not be lost. If the mixture of accuracy and interpretation is right, no one, neither performer nor listener, will be able to resist the fascination of this work. / Carus Choir Coach offers choir singers the unique opportunity to individually rehearse their choir voice in the overall sound of choir and instruments. A separate audio or MP3 CD or a download album with all choral parts is available for each voice part. The Carus Choir Coach is based on recordings by renowned interpreters who have performed from the carefully prepared Carus Urtext edition. The choral movements are available in three versions: 1) original recording, 2) coach: each part is strongly emphasized, original recording in the background, 3) coach in slow mode: complicated parts can be practiced effectively by reducing the tempo of the coach to 70% of the original. / The musicians are: Sarah Wegener (soprano), Sophie Harmsen (mezzo-soprano), Colin Balzer (tenor), Felix Rathgeber (basso) - Kammerchor Stuttgart, Hofkapelle Stuttgart - Frieder Bernius.
