Haydn's popular "Nicolai Mass" is rich in variety and popular. Haydn expresses this lively jubilation with a striking number of large leaps, especially sixth and octave leaps, which choir singers need to get into their ears well so that they can reach them beautifully, especially in the high registers (the soprano must reach the b''). The short, virtuoso "Amen" fugue of the "Gloria" with its syncopated counterpoint requires solid rhythmic security - it's good to be able to hear and practise this slowly in context with Carus Choir Coach! / Carus Choir Coach offers choir singers the unique opportunity to rehearse their choir voice individually in the overall sound of choir and instruments. A separate audio CD with all choral parts is available for each voice part. The Carus Choir Coach is based on recordings by renowned interpreters who have performed from the carefully prepared Carus Urtext edition.
