Description:
The beginning is taken from one of my previous works (1994) written for women's choir with harp and incorporated into this Libera me, with the addition of two horns. The first performance was given in the Main Hall of the Bern (Switzerland) Conservatory in January 2003 on the occasion of a “3 Portrait Concert,” organized by the WomenmusicForum and performed by the Choeur de Jade of Fribourg (Switzerland), Blàthnaid Fuhrer, harp, Hana Jaskova and Kathrin Williner, horns.
