Description:
The edition is based on the score edition compiled by Walther Engelhardt and published in 1965 as volume 12 of the "Denkmäler rheinischer Musik" and replaces it. The score has been newly set, but follows Engelhardt's reading and reprints his edition report unchanged. A piano reduction (also an independent version for choir and piano or organ accompaniment; see also E.D. 11382) and an instrumental part set are now available for the first time.
