Description:
The present arrangement meets the desire to be able to realize well-known and popular movements from Bach cantatas without major scoring effort.
The cantata movements can be performed according to the church year, but are also generally suitable for festive church services and concerts.
Ingo Bredenbach has worked as cantor and organist at the Stiftskirche in Tübingen since 2010. Until 2009, he was professor and rector at the University of Church Music in Tübingen. His arrangement of Gabriel Fauré's Requiem (BA 7513) is available in the "Choir & Organ" series.
