Arranger Larry Shackley has added new lyrics that make this piece especially appropriate for Lent or Holy Week. The gentle, rocking accompaniment underscores simple yet effective vocal parts, including an optional baritone solo. The finishing touch is a clarinet obbligato, which adds a a touch of blues, and a creative counterpoint to the vocals.
