Sakrileg oder Geniestreich? Der Komponist und Kapellmeister Gottlob Benedict Bierey (1772-1840) instrumentierte den 1. Satz der berühmten 'Mondscheinsonate' von Beethoven für Orchester (transponiert nach c-Moll) und fügte diesem einen vierstimmigen Chorsatz hinzu, den er mit dem Text des Kyrie aus dem lateinischen Ordinarium unterlegte. Das Ergebnis ist ebenso verblüffend wie stimmig! Die Bierey-Bearbeitung wurde von Andreas Gräsle für Chor und Orgel eingerichtet und steht wie der originale Klaviersatz in cis-Moll. Eine eigene Chorpartitur zur Orgelbearbeitung ist erhältlich.
